Spectrum Research's SAMS (Structure Assembly Made Easy) program has been highlighted in a poster at the 230th American Chemical Society National Meeting in Washington DC (August 28 - September 1, 2005). The poster describes the benefits of using SAMS with spectroscopic data to rule out alternative structures not previously conceived of by the analyst. Application of SAMS to determine complete structures of several samples from Wyeth Research is described to provide an increased level of confidence to structure elucidation, to suggest alternative structures, and to reduce analysis time.
